The Broker Feed (“The Broker Feed”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a private, invitation-oriented network and lightweight CRM for licensed real estate brokers in the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, progressive web app, and Android application (together, the “Service”) available at thebrokerfeed.com.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. How we use your information

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); your consent (for example, optional communications, or where you add third-party contacts); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.

a. With other users

By design, parts of your profile and the content you post are visible to other brokers on the network according to the visibility settings you choose (for example, public network posts, trusted-brokers-only, agency-only, or private link). Do not post information you do not wish to share.

7. Data you provide about other people (CRM)

The Service lets you save contacts and related details into your private CRM. When you add information about another person, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so and that your use complies with applicable data-protection and anti-spam laws. You are the controller of the contact data you input; we process it on your behalf to provide the CRM features. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and for responding to requests from those individuals, and we will assist you where reasonably required.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
