Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
The Broker Feed (“The Broker Feed”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a private, invitation-oriented network and lightweight CRM for licensed real estate brokers in the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, progressive web app, and Android application (together, the “Service”) available at thebrokerfeed.com.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by The Broker Feed. If you have any questions about this Policy or how your data is handled, contact us at privacy@thebrokerfeed.com.
2. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account & identity data: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email, name, and profile picture.
- Professional profile data: your agency name, contact number / WhatsApp number, RERA or licence details (if you choose to add them), areas and property types you specialise in, languages, bio, and profile photo.
- Content you post: listings and posts (including price, location, property details, descriptions, and images), buyer requests, comments, reviews, and messages.
- CRM data: contacts, tasks, notes, viewing requests, and activity that you create or save within the Service — including information about other people that you choose to add (see Section 7).
- Support & communications: information you provide when you contact us, request an industry, or submit feedback.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages and features viewed, actions taken, and general interaction data used to operate and improve the Service.
- Device & technical data: IP address, browser or app version, device type, and similar technical identifiers.
- Cookies & local storage: used to keep you signed in and remember preferences (see Section 8).
c. Payment information
If you subscribe to a paid plan (Pro or Team), payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our systems; we may retain limited billing records such as plan, transaction reference, and status.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you (including 7-day sessions and “Continue with Google”).
- To operate core features: the feed, listings, broker profiles, reviews, viewing requests, brochures, and the CRM.
- To send transactional messages such as sign-in links, notifications, and account or security emails.
- To process subscriptions and manage plan access.
- To provide support, respond to requests, and improve reliability, safety, and features.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, spam, or violations of our terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); your consent (for example, optional communications, or where you add third-party contacts); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.
a. With other users
By design, parts of your profile and the content you post are visible to other brokers on the network according to the visibility settings you choose (for example, public network posts, trusted-brokers-only, agency-only, or private link). Do not post information you do not wish to share.
b. With service providers (processors)
We use trusted third parties to run the Service. They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, and file storage |
| Cloudflare | Website/app hosting, content delivery, and security |
| Google (Sign-In) | Optional “Continue with Google” authentication |
| Mailgun | Sending transactional and account emails |
| Payment provider | Processing paid-plan subscriptions |
c. For legal reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
d. Business transfers
If the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data on servers located outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in a manner consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
7. Data you provide about other people (CRM)
The Service lets you save contacts and related details into your private CRM. When you add information about another person, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so and that your use complies with applicable data-protection and anti-spam laws. You are the controller of the contact data you input; we process it on your behalf to provide the CRM features. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and for responding to requests from those individuals, and we will assist you where reasonably required.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage that are necessary to operate the Service — primarily to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and remember preferences. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using the Service.
9. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.
11. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law (including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where relevant, other data-protection laws), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can update much of your profile directly in the app, or delete your account. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@thebrokerfeed.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
12. Children
The Service is intended for licensed real estate professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites or open external apps (for example, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
15. Contact us
